Expert Reviews of Shaba Shabu Thai Japanese Restaurant

Citysearch | Masterful Asian cuisine in an uptown, romantic environment.

The decor is simple, clean and modern. Chairs, tables, silverware and plates are sculptural. The Thai dishes belie the flashy decor, as they are thoroughly authentic. Prepare for a spicy kick. Tom kha kai soup...

Excellent Sushi

When I pulled up this page i was shocked at the recent low ratings and negative commentary. I have been to Shaba Shabu with friends on numerous occasions and the food has always been amazing and the service has been excellent. I hae to admit, however, that I have always ordered the sushi and sashimi (not the Thai). They have some of the most creative and tasty rolls. I highly recommend the Wolfpack roll - a California roll topped with spicy tuna. I can't go there without ordering one!
